Leo RomanOffice Manger, Chief Operations Officer
My name is Leo Roman, and I am honored you took the opportunity to read my shortened story on how I decided to become part of this amazing company. Like most Americans, my family emigrated to this country to seek a better life. Growing up in a single parent household, I quickly learned through my mother the value of an education and hard work. She instilled in me that its not good enough to just be nice. One must also be strong, humble and courageous. She reiterated the need to help the voiceless and to support good causes. As a young man I carried these values to every job I had, to every school I entered and to every friend I made. My mother to this day is a very strong yet humble human being, she is my best friend and its because of her values that my decision to help people in any way I can came from.
It is important to understand that to succeed, one must first learn to fail. Our company stands out from the rest in so many aspects, but we pride ourselves in being human first before anything else. With this I would like to share one of my favorite quotes from one of the greatest activists for disadvantaged Americans. “Service is the rent we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life, and not something you do in your spare time.” – Marian Wright Edelman
